“During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.”
“Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference.”
My fiancee got it right - the saddest part about this is that you know that there are children out there who won’t be able to participate just because Pat Robertson and Kimberly Daniels said so.
Halloween has little, if anything, to do with the pagan holiday it originated from, and it’s one of the most fun times of the year for a kid. I mean, what’s better than dressing up as a superhero and walking around visiting neighbors to get candy?
Hell, I still enjoy Halloween. To deprive your children of it because some nutcase said there are demons in the candy and you’re dumb enough to buy into it just seems wrong…
